After watching a massive blood orange coloured moon rise, Simon and I are now enjoying our camp site for the last time before we head home tomorrow.
After picking him and the girls up from the boat ramp earlier, we went back to have lunch and another play. Then we filled up the car with people again and went to Yorketown, a little town not far from here. On the way we stopped to check out their wind farm down here, with some pretty huge windmills!
They have a huge playground at Yorketown and we served up dinner on the BBQ there , followed by grilled banana and chocolate for dessert, which was a huge success. We were meant to go home and have a camp fire with marshmallows, but fire restriction are in place, so we took the girls to the beach instead for a late night play.
The Yorke Peninsula really has some beautiful sights, which I never would have seen hadn’t it been for Simon!
Counting stars for a bit, then off to bed!
What was the highlight of your day?
Xxx,
Line
